By Air

The nearest international airports are: International Airport Henri Coanda Otopeni is situated at a distance of 200 km and the International Airport, MK, Constanta County, being at a distance of 130 km.In the future we want to build an international airport Cantemir Metropolitan Area which will be co-owned by Manchester City.

By Train

Braila is an important railway linking Bucharest and Galati Focsani.Station in the city was opened in 1872 with the railway Bucharest-Galati.Station stands out due to transport of goods.From here trains run loaded with grain, coal, wood and textile products throughout the country.Braila station is being modernized, currently only three lines are assigned to transport, and another 9 are used for freight.

By Bus

In Braila run regular bus lines 9 connecting residential areas to the main industrial areas, town center and train station.There are several taxi companies licensed by the municipality which operates the city and in nearby.The city has 13 regular mini bus lines which are controlled by private companies or the municipality.In Braila there are 5 regular tram lines connecting Salt Lake City resort and other residential and industrial areas.Braila is one of the first electric tram cities in Romania, the first such vehicle was commissioned in 1897.

By Road

At Braila can reach DN2B (express highway) linking Buzau and Galati.National road DN21 link Slobozia of Braila.European route E87 crosses the city, linking Tulcea and Constanta to Braila.Three bus stations of national interest are located in the city, near railway station and flights to various cities of the country: Constanta, Bucharest, Iasi, Galati, Brasov, Sibiu, Timisoara, Cluj.The city is composed of regional and three bus stations, linking rural county.

Greek Church in Braila

Greek Church in Braila is dedicated to The Annunciation and was built between 1862-1872 with the support of the Greek community in the city on the Danube.Is very large, 43.40 m and 21.50 m wide, was built after architect Abraham Ioanidis of Brusa.It has windows and keep valuable wall paintings made in 1890 by George Tattarescu and others.

Archangels Church in Braila

Located in Braila, Traian Square, the church "St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel" was a mosque during the Ottoman rule (XVII-XVIII), is converted into Orthodox church in 1831, after the city went to the Romanian Country by Peace Adrianople.Building retains elements of oriental architecture is one of the few churches in Romania with no towers.It was restored in the '90s.

Maria Filotti Theatre

The Maria Filotti is a theatre in Braila, Romania.The theatre was built in 1896 as "Teatrul Rally".In 1919, it was renamed "The Communal Theatre" in 1949 "The State Theater of Braila - Galati" and in 1969, acquired its present name in honour of the Romanian actress, Maria Filotti (1883-1956).The theatre has 369 seats.

Macin Mountains

is a mountain range in Tulcea County, Dobrogea, Romania.Part of the Northern Dobruja Massif, they are located between Danube River to the north and west, Taita River and Culmea Niculitelului to the east and Casimcea Plateau to the south.Seen from the Danube, they seem only low hills, however they are mountainous region.The Macin Mountains are one of the oldest in Romania, being formed in the second part of the Paleozoic in the Carboniferous and Permian, during the Hercynian orogeny.The predominant rock is granite.Erosion (caused by the difference of temperature) has created steep slopes, with the aspect of ruins.
