Else Alfelt Museum

is a museum located in Birch outside Herning.It was inaugurated in 1976 and contains more than 4000 works by two artists, Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt, the majority of the works come from a gift letter that Carl-Henning Pedersen issued in connection with the museum's creation.In addition to displaying works from the museum's own collections are arranged exhibitions with other artists associated with the cobra movement.The museum is located in a circular building whose exterior is clad with a 90 m long ceramic frieze of Carl-Henning Pedersen.

Morup stone

Morup stone just outside Herning towards Snejbjerg.The stone is of rock larvikite and is one of the largest boulders (Jutland's largest) from the last ice age with an estimated weight of between 400 and 500 tonnes.

MCH Arena Stadium

is the name of the stadium where FC plays its home matches.The stadium is located in Herning.It was inaugurated on 27 March 2004 with a match where FC won 6-0 over AB.Messe Centre Herning is the owner of the stadium but SAS bought the name.It cost 85 million to build this stadium.The agreement expired at the end of the 08/09 season and Exhibition Centre Herning took over then even the name and renamed it the current of 1 July 2009.Stadium record is from the 11th November 2007, when there were 11,763 spectators when FC played against FC Copenhagen.MCH Arena is built so that it is easy to expand it if it comes.The roof will be raised and the foundation is built so spectator capacity stadium will be increased to around 50,000.

Jyllands Park Zoo

Jyllands Park Zoo offers a wide variety of experiences especially for kids.Children may frolic in our amusement park with mini-cars, merry-go-rounds or take a ride on our train that travels through the park and much more.We have more then 850 covered seats where our guests can eat their picnic.There are several barbecues for the free use by our guests as well.Of course we also have a nice Restaurant in Jyllands Park Zoo where we serve you a big variety of dishes.Dogs may be brought into the Park but only in leash.Jyllands Park Zoo is very handicap-friendly.Wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs are available.handcarts, folder prams can be rented.

Green Concert

is an annual series of outdoor concerts with various musicians.The concerts have toured in major Danish cities each summer since 1983.In 2007 Green Concert celebrating 25 years anniversary of Denmark's absolute biggest garden party.The practical work behind the concerts done by a team of volunteers from the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Green Crew and profits from the concerts go to Muscular Dystrophy.Muscular Dystrophy is behind the event and it has Tuborg as main sponsor.
