The nearest airport Jorge Chavez International Airport (IATA: LIM, ICAO: SPIM) (also called Jorge Chavez Airport Lima-Callao)
The airport is well connected with most cities in South America. There are regular flights to Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Newark, Atlanta and Houston in the US. There are daily flights from Amsterdam, Madrid, Miami, Bogotá, Medellín, Quito, Santiago de Chile and Toronto.
Lima is the hub for many regional domestic flights and is served by LAN Peru, LC Busre, TACA Peru, and Star Peru.
By bus
Unlike many other cities in Peru, Lima doesn't have a central bus terminal for interlocal traffic. Most companies have their terminal in La Victoria, not Lima's nicest neighbourhood. However, many are just on the outskirts of La Victoria (Av. Javier Prado and Paseo de la Republica), which is better. There you find some of the more reputable companies like Cruz del Sur, Tepsa, Ormeño, CIAL, Linea, ITTSA, Movil Tours, Flores, Civa.

City Hall
City Hall, construction began in the Republican era, retains a number of architectural features such as arches and other ornaments of outstanding beauty .On the second floor is located the Town Hall unique as this fully decorated with a series of carved wooden figures in high relief representing the seasons and is a large canvas showing a passage from the proclamation of independence in 1820.
Cathedral
Cathedral, dating from the eighteenth century , was part of the monuments of the Society of Jesus. It was repaired in 1814 . The church has two styles, outside the neoclassical represented on the cover and inside, baroque pulpit and altars.
Stone Museum
The Ica stones are a collection of stones on the type andesite from the Peru , that the science considered a fraud . These rocks are characterized by being decorated with drawings of old assumptions dinosaurs and artifacts technology advanced. It was Javier Cabrera who announced these stones. This Peruvian doctor said he received a strange carved stone called as a birthday gift. Then Cabrera identified the engraving says that as a drawing of a fish that had been extinct for millions of years.Stones caught the attention of Carlos and Pablo Soldi , two collectors of such objects had not gotten interested in the archaeological community with no orthodox conclusions, but Cabrera found an ally for their cause. The Soldi they sold 341 similar stones. Cabrera also said he found another provider then called Basil Uchuya . From these and other sources, and for the next thirty-five years, would have received over 15,000 engraved stones.
Huacachina
Huacachina Lagoon is an oasis located five miles to the west of the city of Ica , in Peru , is presented as a true oasis in the midst of natural white sands of the desert . Of water emerald green, arose due to upwelling and undercurrents around it appeared an abundant vegetation consisting of palm trees , eucalyptus and typical huarangos , which serve for the rest of the migratory birds that pass through this region. All this contributes to making one of the Huacachina most spectacular and beautiful coastal Peru .
Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren
Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren , the style of this temple is of neoclassical architecture with a Latin cross. It is characterized by three portals with brick arches. One of the most popular temples of the city that houses the patron saint of Ica. This temple is being demolished (2008) due to Earthquake in Peru in 2007 that struck the region.
Adolfo Bermudez Jenkins Regional Museum
Adolfo Bermudez Jenkins Regional Museum exhibits a collection of pieces of the Paracas, Nazca, Huari, Ica and Inca. In addition, there is a show of paintings and colonial furniture and Republicans, busy in the city.
