Apladalen
Apladalen is a natural and local history park located in Varnamo . Apladalen characterized by lush natural and beautiful trails. Apladalen is also famous for the mentions in Varnamo song written by Algot Fogelberg and Arvid Lindstrom .The park houses from 1700 - and 1800 quarters , including a parsonage, which today is the local museum. Outside the rectory is a herb garden. There are also enclosures with different animals in the park goats, sheep, rabbits and chickens. The park has an outdoor stage where the music plays in the summer. Apladalen also Varnamo biggest playground for children.In Apladalen there for many years also the cafe coffee house. The coffee house has a large terrace which is popular during sasongstid and is visited by bus travel companies from all over Sweden. Across from the coffee house's market house, where various artisans exhibit and sell crafts in the summer.
Vandalorum
Vandalorum is a private art gallery in Nobbele outside Varnamo .Vandalorum is a center for art and design outside Varnamo. The project is run by the Foundation Vandalorum and project managers are Sune Nordgren . Construction began in January 2010 and inaugurated 16 April 2011.Originator of the idea of an art gallery in Varnamo with design focus is Sven Lundh , founder and former head of the furniture company Kallemo AB in Varnamo. Originally discussed in 1984 concrete plans in 1998 with the formation of the Foundation Vandalorum, but the project was bordered the next few years of problems with financing and internal contradictions
Store Mosse National Park
Store Mosse National Park is one of Sweden's 29 national parks and is located in Smaland . With its 78.5 square kilometers, it counts as southern Sweden's largest peat bog . The landscape is very varied, and here one finds for example the vast marsh, the bird-rich Kavsjon, a rich heritage and a patchwork of pine forest.Store Mosse is about 165-180 meters above sea level between Lagan and Nissan valleys. Large parts of the landscape has been shaped by the last ice sheet, but also human activity has played a role.
